Author's Note
The FanFic rules for stories in the Robinverse might sound a little constricting, but please understand that I want to keep it clean. I want to keep the atmosphere that makes Becoming Robin the kind of book that a parent of a transgendered child or teen would feel comfortable letting them read.
Foul language is permissible (as evidenced by Sarah's foul little mouth! ;-)) provided you rate your story appropriately. Much of Becoming Robin is rated PG, for example.
This is my universe. These characters are my children. Abuse them, and I will react accordingly

Fanfic Rules
1) Keep FanFics Clean, Foul language, and violence are tolerable depending on the story. Sex is not allowed just like in the Cannon Rules, We don't want to turn Robinverse into a dime store smut story site.
- Amended Rule to Sex: Please keep love senses to a minimal, make sure they are done tastefully and tactfully, Don't give to much detail, Leave it to the imagination of the reader. E.x. Words like Chest, Breasts, lower area, rear, are all less descriptive words, Nipples, Tits, Pussy, Ass are too derogatory and make the scene smut.
2) Future-tech and other such things should have a reason in a Fanfic, if it's a good enough reason then your story may get approved.(So Yes you Harry Potter Fans out there can Mix Harry Potter and Becoming Robin in a fanfic, or if you're a Trekkie you can do the same with that, as long as it's tasteful and follows the rules! [Hey I might try that Trek thing some time! ;-) -Zoe])

4) Like Canon stories, Fanfics must be approved before we allow posting, and we will request unauthorized stories be taken down.
On Borrowing Characters
- Note that not all stories have to even take place within the "Robinverse". On more than one occasion I have received requests to use the fictional band Heedless Despair in other stories, and I am happy to oblige - you need only ask, provided the request is reasonable :-)
- Please note that the standard canon rules will generally apply, but on a case-by-case basis.
Canon Versus Fanfic
- Please note that a Fanfic is different from a Canon story. If you're writing a Fanfic and its set in a different time period, some of the above mentioned rules may or may not apply, but please make sure you get our approval first before posting it live anywhere other than here.
- If your story is published on the official Robinverse website then you have our express permission to post it on places like BigCloset, otherwise if your story is not approved or posted on this site, then either we haven't gotten to it (wait till it's approved) or we will email you explaining why your story doesn't meet our standards, and we will give you advice on ways to improve it to meet those standards.
